Asia Willis is a publicist based in Los Angeles working closely with talent, film and TV clients to develop and execute strategic public relations campaigns.
She has successfully secured clients in national media placements in Entertainment Weekly, People Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter and GQ Magazine – just to name a few.
Most recently, she has worked on a film campaign with Focus Features film LOVING, which premiered at Cannes and Toronto Film Festival in 2016. The film has been nominated for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. She has also worked on Annapurna Pictures film DETROIT, which won a NAACP Award for Outstanding Independent Motion Picture in 2018.
Past projects includes working with Centric TV’s Soul
Train Awards and television programming for Black
History Month. In addition, she has coordinated media
efforts for the NCAA Final Four and implemented a national TV campaign for TNT's “Hawthorne” starring Jada Pinkett Smith.
With a journalism background from Wayne State University in Detroit, she prides herself on writing creative press releases and pitches that resonates with the media. Her focus is defining the brand, getting key points and awareness to media and general public.
